And its that time of year again! The season of Fashion Weeks has begun, and it has kickstarted in Delhi with the India Couture Week. This time around I wanted to stir things a bit so guess what! We have a guest editor who will be covering the India Couture Week for us in Delhi. She is multi faceted by all means, a journalist, an ex PR professional , photographer (a very talented one at that! ;)) and also a blogger, Mili is a package full of surprises. So here’s is her first post on The Wardrobe of a Nomad! Hope you enjoy x!
When Isha suggested, guest blog for THE WARDROBE OF A NOMAD, I have to say I was mighty excited! So I am covering the ongoing India Couture Week 2014 and as expected the Day 2 of the show was as eventful as ever because the two most revered designers, Rina Dhaka and Anju Modi presented their collections. The reason why I primarily loved Rina’s collection was the vibe and inspiration that went behind the collection- Embellished with the beautiful gotta patti work of Rajasthan. The collection instantly gave the gypsy vibe. Besdies, she also made use of works of zardosi, kamdani karigari to enhance the appeal of the garments.
Bollywood actress Maliaka Arora Khan walked the ramp for Rina Dhaka!
